Video Submission Details

The control fall of gait is the first consideration in assessment of the athlete. The following photos and videos are required. Photos are with feet on a flat firm even surface. Videos are on a treadmill when specified or on a flat firm even surface. Clothing should be well fitted and shorts should be classic short running shorts so we can see the majority of the upper thigh. If possible, use a tripod for your camera/phone or ask a friend to help record you while you perform the exercises.

Additionally, be sure to have these supplies:

  • Running Shoes
  • Treadmill
  • Tape Measure
  • Smart Phone or Camera
  • Tripod or a friend to help record you
  • Masking Tape (or any colored tape)

Each Video Upload Cannot Exceed 45 Seconds

 

Videos and Photos Required

Raise big toe only ( feet on the floor) Raise all other toes and not the big toe ( feet on the floor) Spread your toes ( yoga toes) ( feet on the floor) Photos of foot (top view, side view, rear view (standing) bottom of foot (laying down on stomach)Photos of running shoes (old shoes). (Top view, side view, back view, bottom) 

 

Treadmill Videos 

Make sure your entire body (legs, feet, head and arm) are in the frame. Approximately 70 inches from back and side of treadmill 

Walking –  two speeds slow and normal walking pace from the rear, side and front. (1 minute each with camera at hip height) Slow jog (video)- same view and duration as above Running (video)( your normal pace for training)- same rules as above Sprint (video)( same rules as above) (safely)

The camera should be approximately 60 inches away from you during these recordings. See additional notes if more distance is needed.
